Week 9--Blog Post Two

 As breast cancer patients today have typically been looking for information along their own journeys, they would likely be interested in learning more about the process of reconstructive surgery, recovery and how patients get through it.  Actually, they also like to share their own stories with me which can be an opportunity to request and share these stories to perhaps even more patients.

 

Here are some categories that I would like to start with and the audience to reach:

 

TIPS:   to share information with women about to have surgeries and to promote our products.

RESOURCES: such as types of surgeries, community support, websites for patients to attract patients who are conducting their own research and looking for direction.  We would include how our products can help patients. 

CUSTOMER STORIES: to build trust with new potential customers to encourage them to purchase products.

PRODUCT SHOWCASE: to attract new customers and inform current customers to increase sales.

Week 14 Facebook Insight Analysis

Facebook Insights for Aztec Brewing Company:     In the last 28 days, 7 % less people were reached by Facebook.  Yet, the audience you are trying to reach is more engaged—up 33%!  The page likes are down 33%, perhaps as new guests were nearly impossible to achieve with the varying laws of restaurant openings.   Mobile has always been dominant for Facebook, yet about 30% are now on computers as many people are home.   Regarding the top reaching posts, it looks like a trend of types of beer offerings and hours.  Perhaps the highest reach was also when the Brewery was open.     How interesting that there is little disparity between days of the week when fans are online.  No doubt that people have more time all week to go online.  Wow, they are on all day from about 8:30 AM to about 9:30.  The reactions and comments look like they have been higher around the Election, Veterans Day and Thanksgiving...

Week 2 Part B--Business Research

This week I have researched five related businesses to learn more about how they use social media.  Here are the highlights of what I have learned: Ana Ono Intimates https://www.anaono.com Company information:   Revenues:  $1M with 6 employees.  International company in the mastectomy/breast reconstruction garment niche.  Started by a survivor in her 30’s.  Innovative and even went to New York fashion week and Soma carries their products. Social Media:     Links are on their website. Facebook:   post once per day, last post was 9/8/20.  They have 8281 followers and their posts are all about promotions under the guise of supportive comments. Pinterest:  They are quite active with posts and have 898 followers.  They are a verified merchant.  Boards include:  Lingerie and loungewear that offers comfort, beauty and community through breast cancer. #NEVERALON...
